Project Brief

The school wished to develop an area of shade within an otherwise exposed, hard landscape space. It was also important for the structure to be a visual catalyst to inspire further improvements to the outdoor play and teaching areas.

Solution

Fabric Ten developed the TeePee design to create both the UV protection required and a visually dominant architectural feature for the playground. Its design related to the form of the school and enclosed a space creating an ideal outdoor teaching resource and inspiration for play.
